With the recent and somewhat sudden passing of Apple founder and technology genius Steve Jobs, the internet and bookshelves are rampant with memoirs and biographies. Other biographies that are selling quickly include that of Herman Cain, Ellen Degeneres and Jacqueline Kennedy.
While many of these writers seek sources such as past articles and historians, few biographies come close to the autobiographies of those who are famous.
For this reason, November is considered Life Writing Month. Denis Ledoux, the founder of the “Turning Memories into Memoirs” workshop, also organized a movement to nationalize the same philosophy: to collect your stories and your family’s stories and to put them to pen. It’s rather simple – just an open mind and a promotional pen.
So if you’re working on becoming famous or leaving behind a quiet legacy, be sure to write all through the month of November.
